Implementation |
| Responsibility
for implementation resides with an experienced Project Manager who ensures
that the clients expectation is clearly understood and the project planned
accordingly. Practical implementations focus on the existing business
fundamentals with agreed value added functions being delivered over time.
Implementations can take anywhere between 3 and 8 months depending on the
structure and requirements.
The team is made up of a number of specialist business analysts who are responsible for needs analysis and user training, implementation specialists from selected solutions partners and key champions from the business. Regular steering committee meetings are held to agree the scope of the project, monitor progress, track the budget and make informed decisions during the implementation phase. The needs analysis will include business process evaluation where appropriate. A detailed analysis of the business functions is mapped to the planned implementation model and variances are identified and solutions agreed. The ACS team ensures that data is converted from existing systems in good time and accurately. The conversion data is used for end user training both to provide a familiar environment in the learning process and as a check for completeness. Training and pilot workshops are designed to suit each clients specific business and are performed using converted data. The clients participation and commitment to the implementation process is a critical factor in the success of the project. |
